The Alliance for Tropical Forest Science's Drones Working Group's drone datasets metadatabase's goal is to summarize available tropical forest drone datasets but not to host the actual data. Data do not need to be publicly available but do need a contact person willing to discuss collaborations.

We are excited to bring together our community of tropical drone data collectors! Above you can see the projects recorded in our metadatabase visually on a map. The map displays a subset of the information from each project and is visualized using the raw metadata data as stored below. Please use the "Project Name" unique identifier to locate projects. The excel sheet is dynamically updated with every new entry, and the sheet and the map are periodically cleaned up and updated.

Contacts who have filled out the metadata survey have agreed to be contacted regarding these datasets.Sharing their data is completely up to individual researchers' discretions. Please feel free to reach out to them independently for further information!
